Victor Vernicos spoke about his Eurovision experience on "Pame Danai". He even emphasized that he would give two points to the participation of Cyprus and 12 to Portugal and responded to the negative comments he received about his performance.
Regarding the two points he would give to Cyprus, he clarified: "I see it completely musically. I was inside the stadium and saw all the songs. So I would give Cyprus two points. With her representative, Andrew Lambrou, we got close. He is a very good boy, I love him. He is fantastic. I believe we will continue to be close."
Asked which country he would like to lift the trophy, he replied: "Finland blew the stadium away. But my 12 goes to Portugal. Her energy was very nice. Armenia was also very high for me."
Making his self-criticism, he noted: "The second couplet didn't go well, my expressions weren't good. In every rehearsal I improved and if we had gone to the final the result would have been different".
"If I were to go back, I wouldn't change anything. But I should be sure that I will perform", he concluded.
