She herself, despite the suspect's insistence, discreetly avoided him: "It simply came to our notice then. I tried to be polite and "chase" him in a beautiful way because I was a customer at the store where he worked. I was never with him, and when he asked who else would be with him in the calls he made to me, he did not answer. Now I think how lucky I was that due to my age and the fact that I was suspicious I did not fall into the trap " she complains.

At the same time, speaking to Kathimerini, the activist Elias Gionis states that through his social media account he has received a barrage of complaints from young girls, 17 to 25 years old, mainly from Thessaloniki, who share with him incidents that have many features in common with what the 24-year-old complains about.

As he notes, the descriptions follow a recurring pattern in which the same hotel and the same circle of people are involved.

According to him, most of the girls who approach him describe that they have been invited to a party at the luxury hotel and report incidents in which they have been sedated and fainted.

"Many are lucky and their friends have picked them up", he states, adding that there are cases when they woke up alone in a room without remembering anything from the previous night.

In these cases, fearing the consequences, they have left without complaining about anything. "There are girls who never spoke because they did not know what to do. […] Some of them complain that they approached them while they were 16 and 17 years old ".
