Greece's songs for Eurovision have been announced

The candidate songs that will compete for the nomination of the representative of Greece in the 59th pan-European Eurovision song contest in Copenhagen have been announced.

The four candidate songs, in alphabetical order, are:
Freaky Fortune feat. RiskyKidd - "Rise up" (Panik Record)
Mark Angelo feat. Josephine - "Dancing Night" (Panik Record)
Krystallia - "Butterfly in Athens" (Platinum Records)
Costas Martakis - "Nobody Stops Me" (Platinum Records).

The first television broadcast of the candidate songs and their contributors will take place today, Wednesday, March 5, in the context of the Public Television show "News" (10.00-12.00). Immediately after the end of the show, the videos of the candidate songs will be available on the official MAD channel on Youtube, www.youtube.com/madtvgreece

The Greek final, for the promotion of the song that will represent Greece in the 59th Eurovision Song Contest, will take place as part of a special night on Tuesday, March 11 at the "Acro Music Hall", and will be broadcast live on Public Television.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Greece's first Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton, UK.

The goal of this year's event is not only to highlight Greek participation, but also to celebrate 40 years of participation in Eurovision through a glamorous show with big surprises and unique appearances of old and new artists.

The celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the Greek participation will be accompanied by the duets of Hope - Tamta, Sofia Bossou - Demy, Kaitis Garbi - Vegas, Kalomoiras - Claydee but also Paschalis, Bessy Argyraki, Robertlis and Maria Willyan Williams, her . Last year's winners Koza Mostra and Agathonas could not be missing from the evening. The event will be presented for the second consecutive year by Despina Vandi and George Kapoutzidis.
