Cyprus in tonight's Eurovision semifinal

The first semifinal for the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest is taking place tonight in Kiev, Ukraine.

Cyprus and Greece participate in tonight's semifinal starting at 10.00 pm.

Cyprus, with the song Gravity and Hovig, will appear in 15th place and Greece with the song "This is love" and Demy will appear in 10th place.

The second semifinal will be held on Thursday, May 11, at 22.00.

The final, in which 42 countries are participating this year, will take place on Saturday, May 13, at the International Exhibition Center in Kiev.

The two semi-finals and the final will be broadcast live at 22.00 Cyprus time, by RIK1, the RIKSAT satellite show, RIKHD and the Third Radio Program.

They will also be broadcast through the RIK website.

This year the commentary was undertaken by Christiana Artemiou and Tassos Tryfonos.

On the night of the final, the score of Cyprus will be announced by the singer John Karagiannis, who represented Cyprus in the Eurovision contest in 2015.

John Karagiannis will give the rating of Cyprus welcoming Kiev from Paphos, the European Capital of Culture 2017.
