Formula1- Abu Dhabi: Under the watchful eye of President Anastasiadis

The President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis is the only European leader who will watch today's big Formula 1 race at the official invitation of the Prince and heir to the throne of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahya. In fact, they will watch him together with the Sheikh from his luxurious Suite.

Today, contacts of President Anastasiadis with the Sheikh are also planned, during which the date of his official visit to our country is expected to be determined. As you can see in Abu Dhabi, celebrities from all over the world such as Prince Harry, actress Michelle Rodriguez, singers and other famous artists have been invited.

The images from the state-of-the-art Emirates track speak for themselves.

They were recorded yesterday during the qualifiers of the last race of the Formula One championship. Mercedes's Nico Rosberg was impressive and took the pole position. Lewis Hamilton's teammate came in second and Williams' Felipe Massa had the third best time. Today's match is the last of the season and is expected with great interest throughout the world as it will judge this year's champion. Lewis Hamilton is at the top right now. Second is Rosberg, the only pilot who can threaten him. In order for Rosberg to win the title, he must win and Hamilton must finish in third place and below.
