The British residents of the province of Famagusta made a moving move, taking an initiative to support the distressed residents of Sotira who are affected by the consequences of the economic crisis. Specifically, last Tuesday, June 11, a solidarity event was organized in the Event Hall of Sotiras City Hall during which guests and the public could bring food and other basic necessities which were then given to the Social Grocery of the Church of the Savior.The Gatehouse Singers choir, consisting of 25 British choirs who are permanent residents of Cyprus, presented an amazing two-hour program called "Sounds of Bradway" and during which they sang the most famous songs from famous musicals.
The whole event was held under the auspices of Mayor Sotiras.
