The Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare announces that today the Welfare Benefits Management Service (YDEP) will begin paying a lump sum to beneficiaries of the Minimum Guaranteed Income (MIG) who receive a rent/mortgage loan interest subsidy.
The lump sum will be paid to the bank accounts of EEE beneficiaries registered with the Welfare Benefits Management Service, via bank transfer.
By Decision of the Council of Ministers on 19/10/2023, the allocation of a lump sum was approved:
amounting to €300 to EEE beneficiaries who receive a rent/mortgage loan interest subsidy and
€500 to EEE beneficiaries with a severe disability, who receive a rent subsidy/mortgage loan interest subsidy.
