The Welfare Benefits Management Service of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare announced the start of submission of applications by providers for participation in the Tuition Subsidy Scheme for Children over the age of four and up to the age limit for free compulsory preschool education for the 2025-2026 school year.
In its announcement, the Service recalls that on March 26, 2025, the Council of Ministers approved the Tuition Subsidy Scheme for Children over 4 years of age and up to the age limit for free compulsory preschool education for the 2025-2026 school year, funded by the European Union within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Within the framework of the Scheme, funding is provided to cover tuition fees related to the attendance of children over 4 years of age and under the age of free compulsory preschool education, based on the Primary and Secondary Education (Compulsory Attendance and Provision of Free Education) Law No. 30 (I) / 2024, within the working hours of 7:45-13:05, based on the timetable of Pre-Primary, Primary and Special Education schools determined by a relevant decision of the Council of Ministers.
All families with children, at least one of whom must be at least 4 years old or under, are eligible to participate in the Scheme.
