The Construction Materials Price Index for the month of May 2025 amounted to 118,92 units (based on 2021=100), marking an increase of 1,34% compared to the same month of 2024, according to data published on Wednesday by the Statistical Service.
Compared to the previous month, the index recorded a marginal decrease of 0,09%, while for the period January-May 2025, it recorded an increase of 1,23% compared to the corresponding period in 2024.
By main product category, compared to last May, increases were recorded in minerals (3,65%), mineral products (3.47%), wood, insulating, chemical and plastic products (0,48%) and electromechanical goods (0,37%), while a decrease was recorded in metal products (-0,74%).
