No change in oil sales on an annual basis in October

There was no change in the sales of petroleum products on an annual basis, the Statistical Service states in an announcement on Imports, Sales and Stocks of petroleum products for October 2022.

As he notes, during October 2022, total sales of petroleum products reached 132.334 tons, remaining unchanged compared to October 2021.

There was an increase in aircraft oil supplies (8,7%), as well as sales of heating oil (13,3%) and light fuel oil (10,1%), while a decrease was recorded in ship oil supplies (29,0%) and in sales of asphalt (7,8%), diesel (3,5%), kerosene (1,5%) and gasoline (0,5%).

Regarding sales from petrol stations in particular, they showed a decrease of 1,6% to 55.053 tons.

Total sales of petroleum products in the month of October 2022 compared to September 2022 increased by 3,1%.

Indicatively, sales of diesel (8,3%) and gasoline (9,4%) decreased, while sales of heating oil (59,5%) increased. Total oil inventories at the end of October 2022 fell by 4,8% compared to the end of the previous month.

In the January-October 2022 period, total sales of petroleum products rose 13,3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, it said.
