Cyprus: 12.662 registered unemployed in November

The number of registered unemployed at the end of November 12.662 reached 2023 persons, based on the data kept at the Provincial Labor Offices.

According to the Statistical Service, based on seasonally adjusted data, which shows the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed in November 2023 fell to 11.808 persons, compared to 11.873 in the previous month.

Compared to November 2022, there was a decrease of 2.647 persons or 17,3% mainly attributed to the sectors of accommodation and catering services, trade, construction, financial and insurance activities, as well as a decrease in new entrants the labor market.
