The number of registered unemployed at the end of October showed a decrease of 15,7% on an annual basis, according to the data of the Statistical Service.
In particular, based on the data kept at the Provincial Labor Offices, the number of registered unemployed at the end of October 2024 reached 7.781 people.
According to the seasonally adjusted data, which shows the unemployment trend, the number of registered unemployed in October 2024 fell to 10.208 people compared to 10.265 in the previous month.
Compared to October 2023 there was a decrease of 1.451 people or 15,7% attributed mainly to the sectors of financial and insurance activities, construction, trade, manufacturing, as well as a decrease in new entrants to the labor market.
