The reduction in the Value Added Tax rate on EAC accounts, from 19% to 9%, will be implemented from tomorrow.
Speaking on the Morning Schedule, EAC Press Spokesperson Christina Papadopoulou stated that the reduced rate will be in effect for one year, for all household consumers, who number almost 500.000.
It is estimated that for a consumption of 800 kilowatt hours every 2 months, consumers will save approximately 20 euros.
