Mr. Stephanou He wished everyone and everyone who was elected "a productive term that will benefit citizens and local communities."
He said tackling the problems and meeting the modern needs of local communities "requires consensus and joint effort".
Mr. Stefanou said that with the reform promoted by the Government, he aims to decentralize the central government and upgrade the role of local government, so that it offers more and better services.
