There was an increase in the number of patients in the Accident and Emergency Departments (A&E) of the state hospitals during the Easter holidays, which was expected, the press representative of the State Health Services Organization (OKyPY), Haralambos Harilaou, told KYPE, noting that everything was within the normal routine.

"Nothing special, the expected. As always during the holidays we expect an increased flow, we had the increased flow, everything was dealt with, everything went well", noted Mr. Harilaou.

Asked about the reasons for this increased flow of patients, he pointed out that "these days the personal and specialist doctors are absent, so the workload is shouldered by the TAEPs".
