A total increase of 6,81% was recorded in passenger traffic at Larnaca and Paphos airports in January 2025, compared to the same month in 2024, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, as Larnaca Airport recorded an increase of 12,7%, while Paphos Airport recorded a decrease of 7,24%.
Specifically, according to a Ministry announcement, Larnaca and Paphos airports welcomed 551.439 passengers during January 2025.
At Larnaca Airport, following the positive trends of 2024, passenger volume increased by 12,7% compared to the corresponding period last year, in contrast to Paphos Airport, where a decrease of 7,24% was recorded compared to January 2024.
With the main markets being the United Kingdom, Greece, Israel, Poland and Germany, aircraft traffic increased by 10,32% compared to the corresponding record last year and amounted to 5.346 flights.
