Flights between Israel and Larnaca and Paphos airports were canceled, while flights to Cyprus from Europe and America were diverted, following developments in the region with the attack launched by Israel during the night against targets in Iran.

Information from Hermes Airports, the management company of Cyprus' airports, reports that following Israel's attack on Iran, flights to and from Israel, to and from Larnaca and Paphos airports were canceled.

There is also a fairly large number of diverted flights from Europe and America which landed at both Larnaca and Paphos airports.

The aircraft passengers disembarked and are in the halls of Larnaca and Paphos airports, while several were transferred to hotels.

According to the same information, the airport management company managed to satisfy all requests for flight diversions, while for better management of this specific situation, the Crisis Center at Larnaca Airport has been activated.

It is noted that the remaining flights to and from both airports in Cyprus continue as normal.
