The Cyprus Police announces that applications are being accepted to fill vacant Police Officer positions.
The written exams will be held on Saturday 25/04/2026 and candidates will be tested in Mathematics, Greek, English and General Knowledge.
More information regarding the required qualifications, the duties and responsibilities of the position, the material of the written examination as well as other information, is provided in the issue of the Official Gazette of the Republic, dated 06/02/2026, on the electronic news website of the Police www.cypruspolicenews.com, as well as at the Recruitment Branch on telephones 22808236/ 22808247.
Candidates can apply through website only www.gov.cy in the thematic section:
"Work and Insurance"
"Public Sector Employment"
"Application for Police Recruitment"
In order to proceed with filling out the online application, the applicant must first create a profile as a Citizen (Natural Person) in CY Login, which must be identified. Profile identification is done in the following ways:
a) Through electronic banks (eBanking)
b) For people with a Cypriot ID, through a video call with KEP officials by appointment
c) By personal on-site visit to an Identification Center by appointment

Candidates who already have an identified profile from previous times or for some other reason, should not create a new profile. In case the citizen does not remember his/her details, there is a mechanism called "Forgot Username", "Forgot Password".
During the application process, all relevant certificates should be scanned and submitted.
The application submission period begins on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The application fee is €45 and will be paid through the JCC payment acceptance system upon completion of the application.
In relation to the written exams, candidates will be informed via email at a later stage, both about the examination center in which they will sit and about other useful information.
A candidate who will not be informed in writing by Monday 20/04/2026 about the location of the written examination is asked to contact the Police Recruitment Branch, at 22808236 and 22808247.
