The Paphos Police Department is investigating a case of attempted murder that was committed today around 10 am at a pharmacy in Chloraka.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director of Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, the suspect in the attempted attack against the 33-year-old owner of the pharmacy and a 24-year-old employee is a 35-year-old man from the Limassol district, who surrendered to the Police.
The two women suffered stab wounds to various parts of their bodies, but their health condition is out of danger. They were taken by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital for treatment.
The Police were informed of the incident by a citizen. Members of the Paphos ADE immediately went to the scene, which they sealed off and placed under guard to carry out the necessary examinations, which are ongoing.
