The content of the 14-page document, the messages, the audio excerpts and the broader narrative about the “Santi” case was false and fabricated, said Police Chief Themistos Arnaoutis on Thursday morning, during a press conference on the issue, in Nicosia.
“With the completion of the investigation and the evaluation of the evidence, the conclusion is clear. No evidence emerged to substantiate the alleged serious offenses that were publicly alleged against the individuals named or implicated in the allegations,” the Chief said, adding that the entire narrative was unfounded, “false and fabricated.”
In addition, he said that instructions were given to investigate any offenses for the creation, publication and dissemination of controversial messages and statements made online.
