Members of the Traffic Police Headquarters stopped a public bus, driven by a 06-year-old man, today, at around 45:58 in the morning, on the Avdellerou - Athienou road.

During the inspection, it was found that there were more passengers on the bus than allowed (54 people instead of 50).

In addition, a final alcohol test was performed on the driver, with a reading of 63μg% instead of the permitted limit of 9μg%.

The 58-year-old was arrested for flagrant offenses and is expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court today, for immediate registration of the case.

Athienou Police Station continues the examinations.
