The renewal of the collective labor agreement in the hotel industry creates a period of calm and normality in the hotel industry until 2027, the "CHANGE" DEOK Hotel Employees Union says in a statement, welcoming the renewal of the contract and expressing its satisfaction for the actions of those who contributed to this.
"As a Trade Union, we call on employers to respect and abide by what was agreed upon and at the same time, we expect the Ministry of Labor to assist in the effort to comply with all that has been agreed upon," the announcement states.
In addition, DEOK expresses the hope that the hotel industry will gradually become a pole of attraction for the local workforce and regain its former glory, which, in order to achieve "it is necessary that the conditions and conditions of employment improve accordingly and with the improvement of the tourist product".
"As long as the hotel units prosper, so must the workers in them," she concludes in her announcement.
