The defendants in the case of the death of an infant in a "hospital" of the occupied were released with restrictive measures.

As reported by the occupied, today, five accused nurses, who had been detained, were re-presented in the "court" and released on condition.

According to the "police", investigations into the case continue, however there is no longer any risk that the defendants will influence the progress of the investigations.

The "prosecutor" submitted questions to the "police", who said that the bail conditions can be modified in case of changes, such as the filing of the autopsy report or changes in the health status of the accused.

The "judge" decided to impose a ban on the defendants from leaving the occupied property. In addition, a "bail" of 200.000 Turkish Liras in cash and the signing of a surety bond worth 1 million Turkish Liras was set for each defendant. Defendants are also required to report regularly to the nearest "police" station.

Lawyers for the defendants said that the actual cause of the infant's death is still unknown, while some of them claimed that it was medical malpractice.
