American federal experts are in Cyprus, summoned by President Christodoulides, to assist in the investigation and evaluation of the management of the deadly fire.
Starting tomorrow, they will start work at the scene of the deadly fire for the first autopsy, contributing their expertise to the investigations.
In a few days, they will submit a preliminary report to President Christodoulides.
In a post, the US Embassy in Cyprus states that it is honored to welcome ten of the world's leading fire investigators to Cyprus, in support of the investigation into the deadly fire in Limassol.
This cooperation, the American embassy says, underscores the strength of ties and is an example of mutual support between partners in times of crisis.
