The start of the new school year and the strategy for Higher Education will be discussed by the Parliamentary Education Committee, which meets on Wednesday at 9 am.
In particular, according to the agenda of the session of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Culture for tomorrow Wednesday, which is published on the website of the House of Representatives, the session will start at 9 am with the registration of subjects with the ex officio procedure in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 41A, and work will be planned for the next sessions of the Committee.
Then, according to the program, at 09:05 the Committee will be informed about the start of the 2024-2025 school year and at 10:30 it is expected to be informed about the Strategy for Higher Education.
For the start of the school year, the Committee has invited the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athina Michailidou, the President of the Pan-Cyprus Coordinating Committee of School Ephorates, representatives of the educational organizations OELMEK, OLTEK and POED, of the Pan-Cyprus Confederation of Federations of Parents' Associations to attend. of Public Secondary Schools, of the Pan-Cypriot Confederation of Federations of Associations of Parents of Primary Schools, of the Pan-Cypriot Confederation of Federations of Associations of Parents and Guardians of Public and Community Kindergartens and the Pan-Cypriot Coordinating Committee of Students (PSEM).
