Following relevant instructions, the District Administration teams are immediately proceeding to record and assess the damage caused to solar water heaters in residential units, due to the low temperatures of recent days. The damage will be assessed by the teams during the following days and, after a cost assessment has been carried out, a proposal for the payment of financial assistance will be forwarded to the Council of Ministers in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
Therefore, citizens who have been affected are urged to contact the relevant District Administration by Friday, February 28, to report the damage, so that a crew can be scheduled to visit their premises.
The Services of the Ministry of Interior remain on standby to offer all possible assistance for the protection of citizens, in cooperation and coordination with other competent Ministries and Departments.
