Members of the Community Policing Unit of the Famagusta Police Directorate, Pieros Glykainos and Giannakis Ioannou, presented a lecture to children aged 15-17 who are in the housing and protection program for unaccompanied minor immigrants in Cyprus on the topic of "youthful delinquency - the role of the Police in society".
It is noted that the above program falls under the actions of the International Organization for Migration in Cyprus, related to the United Nations organization, and provides living to minors who are under the guardianship of social welfare services (SWS).
At the end of the lecture, which took place at the organization's offices in Paralimni, a dialogue with the children followed, in which the issue of maintaining public peace and good neighborliness was particularly raised.
