With the testimony of the Director of the Traffic Department of the Police Headquarters, Haris Evripidou, the sessions of the Investigative Committee for the handling of vehicle recalls, appointed in March by the Attorney General, Giorgos Savvides, on the occasion of the issue of problematic Takata airbags, were completed on Monday.
Speaking after the end of the session, the Chairman of the Research Committee, Michalakis Christodoulou, stated that the Research Committee's findings will be ready by July 12 at the latest.
At the same time, Mr. Christodoulou apologized to the parents of the two victims, who were also present at the meeting of the Investigative Committee today, because, as he said, "the State failed to provide them with security."
"If and when responsibilities are identified, they will be attributed within the framework of the powers that this Committee has," he stressed.
