"Truth and justice will prevail again," the Holy Diocese of Tamasos and Orinis says in a statement regarding posts on social media.
IM Tamasou states that she does not carry out, nor has she approved, any fundraiser for the Holy Monastery of St. Avvakum, "as misleadingly some astute people spread".
"Those who have evidence of unethical or illegal acts, can communicate them (by name or anonymously) to the competent church authorities, so that the required control can be carried out", it states.
It is added that Metropolitan Isaias of Tamasos and Orenis "has practically demonstrated his will and determination for the purification of our Church, regardless of the cost".
"We are sure that truth and justice will prevail again", the announcement concludes.
