Overnight work will be carried out tonight as well, on a section of the Limassol-Nicosia highway, with the Police recommending caution to passing drivers.
The works will be carried out from 9.00 on Wednesday night, until 5.30 tomorrow morning, Thursday, September 05, on the section of the highway between Moni and Skarinos. During them, the right traffic lane in the direction of Nicosia will be partially closed for a distance of 500m. about. Traffic will be diverted through the left lane of the road.
According to an announcement by the Department of Public Works, work is being carried out to install anti-glare curtains on the central island of the road. They are held from Monday, 02/09/2024, until Thursday, 05/09/2024, from 9.00 in the evening, until 5.30 in the morning of the next day.
The Police recommends caution to passing vehicle drivers, who are asked to drive at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front, and comply with temporary road markings in the area of road works.
