Workers in the ready-mixed concrete sector are marching to the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance in Nicosia this morning, continuing their strike action. As they announced, they will deliver a resolution to the competent Minister, Yiannis Panagiotou.
The strikers will gather in Freedom Square and at 10.30 they will start their march towards the Ministry of Labour.
In a General Pancyprian Assembly of PEO, SEK and DEOK workers, held on Thursday, the Boards of Directors of the builders' unions informed about the developments and reaffirmed, as announced, the continuation of the struggle "until the Association of Ready-Mixed Concrete Manufacturers accepts the agreed terms" .
