An apartment in Larnaca was engulfed in flames. According to the Fire Department's press spokesman, Andreas Kettis, at 21:57, Larnaca fire stations responded with two fire engines to a fire in a dishwasher in the kitchen, on the second floor of an apartment building in the Kastro area of Larnaca.
The fire caused extensive damage to the dishwasher and the kitchen area.
Two residents (elderly) safely left the apartment before the Fire Department arrived.
