The average amount of precipitation that fell in the free areas from the 131st of the month until 1 am on the 8st of November reached 21% of the normal amount for the month of November, according to preliminary data released on Thursday by the Department of Meteorology, with the areas of Kellaki and Saittas to receive the largest amount of precipitation within the month.
According to the data, the average total rainfall during the same period was 69,8 mm, compared to 53,3 mm which is the normal rainfall for the entire month.
More specifically, a large amount of rainfall during this period was recorded in Kellaki with 113,9 millimeters which corresponds to 195% of the normal for the whole of November, in Saitta with 117,6 millimeters (175% of the normal), in the New Port of Limassol with 74,5 millimeters (152% of normal), in the area of Paphos Airport with 71,4 millimeters (137% of normal) and in Pano Panagia with 105,9 millimeters (135% of normal).
In the last 24 hours, a large amount of precipitation was recorded in Kellaki with 21,5 millimeters and in Kornos with 8,4 millimeters.
