The unions will have a meeting with OKYpY tomorrow Tuesday morning in order to avoid the 24-hour strike announced by the hourly workers in the public hospitals, for July 23 from 6:30 am until 6:30 am the following day.
The unions PASYEK-PEO and OEKDY-SEK express dissatisfaction with the policy of OKYPY to hire seasonal staff for its permanent and permanent needs and stress that they will not accept the continuation of this policy which, as they say, victimizes workers and creates within of the same organization two-speed workers.
It is recalled that after the reaction of the trade unions, the specific issue was recently discussed in a session of the Health Committee of the Parliament and the OKYPY was asked to send its recommendations in writing.
As the KYPE is informed, the two guilds sent the positions of the labor side so that it becomes possible to sign a practical agreement between the guilds and OKYPY which binds the Organization that any additional, permanent needs that arise will be covered with permanent hourly staff.
Otherwise, the trade unions intend to activate the decisions of the General Assemblies of the workers and will proceed with dynamic strike measures
