The findings of criminal investigators Lambros Pappas and Thanasis Athanasiou on the case of Thanasis Nikolaos were delivered to the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers this morning, as reported by CNA.
It is recalled that last May, the Council of Ministers appointed as independent criminal investigators for the case of the death of Thanasis Nikolaos, lawyer Thanasis Athanasiou and retired lieutenant general of the Hellenic Police, responsible for the prosecution of homicides, Lambros Pappas.
Based on the decision taken, they were authorized to proceed with criminal investigations in relation to the circumstances of the death of Thanasis Nikolaos, who was found dead on 29.9.2005, near the Alassa bridge in Limassol, and any reprehensible acts or omissions noted during the investigations carried out regarding the causes of his death.
