Stay in shady and cool places and avoid overcrowding
Dress light and comfortable with light colored clothing
Wearing a hat when students are outside the teaching areas
Avoiding intense physical activity outdoors
Cancellation of the outdoor Physical Education lesson from 11:00 to 13.30:XNUMX when there are hot weather conditions
Avoiding physical exercise and playing under the sun during the break
Small and light meals, low in fat, with an emphasis on fruit and vegetable intake, plenty of fluids (water and juices)
In the event of a field trip, ensure a shaded area for students and staff
Special emphasis should be given when high temperatures are combined with phenomena of increased levels of air pollution and humidity
Children suffering from chronic diseases should consult their treating physician, to receive additional instructions depending on their health condition as well as instructions on the possible change in the dosage of their medication, if necessary
