A car in Larnaca suffered extensive damage in the early hours of this morning from a fire, which also affected an adjacent small commercial vehicle.
In a post by Andreas Kettis, Press Secretary of the Fire Service, on the "X" platform, it is stated that at 01:47 today, Friday, March 7, two staffed fire engines from the Larnaca Fire Stations responded "to a fire in a private vehicle which was parked in an open area in Larnaca."
It is added that "the vehicle suffered extensive damage from the fire, mainly in the engine compartment, while an adjacent small commercial vehicle was also affected in the rear."
The cause of the fire will be investigated later today by the Fire Department in collaboration with the Police.
