US aircraft manufacturer Boeing announced today that it expects China to need 8.560 new passenger aircraft by 2042, given the growth trajectory of the Chinese economy and the increased demand for air tickets for domestic tourism.
In its previous 2022 forecast for the next 20 years of new aircraft needs, Boeing estimated that Chinese airlines would need to buy 8.485 aircraft.
