The trade unions are going on a three-hour strike on January 26, with the aim of protecting the ATA institution and adopting a new agreement, following the collapse of yesterday's meeting of employers and unions with the Minister of Labour.

Along with the work stoppage, it is expected that all-worker gatherings will be organized in all cities.

Representatives of the trade unions expressed disappointment, since as they reported, the process for the restoration of ATA, which started some time ago, was crowned with failure.

The heads of SEK, PEO and DEOK, in fact, accused the employers' side of promoting newfangled elements in the debate, which go beyond the framework of the consultation and negotiation on the philosophy of the ATA.

Employer side: To continue the 2017 agreement on ATA

The representatives of the OEB and the KEBE stated that they had requested the continuation of the 2017 agreement, with the payment, in essence, of an annual increase of four point 36%, so that the liquid situation in the economy could be evaluated and discussed afterwards.

They also said that a proposal was submitted to discuss a new, modern, institution for evaluating and restoring the value of wages, based on the best European practices.
