Archie deserves the princely title when his grandfather Charles ascends the throne
The bad relationship between Prince Harry and his wife, Megan, and Buckingham Palace has long been known. What many did not know was the cause that triggered this tension.
The couple's interview with American journalist-presenter Oprah Winfrey shook the foundations of the Palace and put them in a difficult position as there were even accusations of racism against little Archie, the first son of Prince Harry and Megan Markle.
They accuse the Palace of racism
The British press reveals that one of the main reasons for the royal "cold war" is the decision of Prince Charles - and heir to the throne - to shorten the royal circle and deprive the title of "prince" to Archie's grandson.
According to the protocol, the grandchildren of the monarch as soon as he ascends the throne receive the title of prince-princess. However, Charles seems to want to shrink the "royal circle" because, as he claims, British citizens are tired of seeing a long line of potential successors enjoying the privileges of their title. Moreover, even jokingly, he has said: "in the end, Buckingham's balcony will fall from the royal world that gathers".
This information seems to have been the last straw in the Harry-Megan's relationship with the royal family. In fact, the couple had refused the title of Lord as they believed that when Harry's father, Charles, ascended the throne, he would become a prince. It is noted that the only "beneficiary" for the princely title is George, the eldest son of William and Kate and a possible successor. But the other two children of the couple received princely titles as a "gift" from Queen Elizabeth.
However, they were informed about Karolos' intention and this angered them. It was also linked to the royal members' concern about the baby's color, as Megan is a mix, accusing the palace of racism.
