Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation from US President Donald Trump to visit Washington, according to the Kremlin.
Russian Presidential Adviser Yuri Ushakov told reporters that the US side had proposed a new meeting of Russian and US leaders in Washington in late 2018, but that co-operation had not yet begun.
Usakov also said it was very likely the two leaders would could possibly meet at the G20 summit in Argentina in November.
"Maybe there will be other international events in which Trump and Putin will take part."
