A mother of two from America lost the ground under her feet when her 4-year-old daughter was hospitalized with severe infection caused by the herpes simplex virus. Even more shocking was that the child got stuck by his own mom who kissed him while he was sick with herpes without knowing it.
Her little girl may have escaped the danger, but the mother wanted to warn the parents through her story, so that no one else would go through the nightmarish moments the family experienced.
When the Jaime Lippold noticed that her daughter got a pimple on her face, she did not pay much attention. However, things turned out badly when it started to grow in size and spread all over her cheek in just a few days.
The family rushed the little girl to the hospital, where she was treated for an infection. Doctors told the mother that the 4-year-old aubree was infected with the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1), also known as cold sores.
