Iran's Foreign Ministry said there is no plan for a new round of negotiations with the United States, accusing Washington of violating agreements and hostile actions during previous talks.
In particular, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai argued that the US has not learned lessons from previous experiences, adding that its stance does not contribute to positive results. He said that Tehran is not currently considering a new dialogue process with Washington.
According to him, the US violated the ceasefire from the very first moment of its implementation, imposing a naval blockade and carrying out actions that, as he said, are contrary to international law. Baghai said that Iran informed the Pakistani mediator about this, noting that US actions included attacks on Iranian ships and infrastructure, as well as loss of human lives.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman also noted that a ten-point proposal had been submitted, which was discussed in Islamabad, while he claimed that the Strait of Hormuz was safe before the attacks attributed to the US and Israel.
At the same time, he accused Washington of trying to shift the blame to Iran, claiming that the US is not serious in the negotiations. "This game continues instead of playing a positive role. But we cannot expect the Americans to tell the truth, they always blame us. It seems that America is not serious at all."
