The European Chemicals Agency wants to ban them, because the use of these colors is no longer allowed for cosmetics. After their application, the color stays on the skin for weeks. And because the colors used for tattoos are also considered cosmetics, dyes fall under the jurisdiction of the European body.
Regarding the intention of Brussels to ban blue and green tattoos, the newspaper "Bild" asked the opinion of experts.

Regarding the new trend in white ink tattoos, the German professor stressed that even this is not harmless as it can cause infection in the body.
