Panic erupted among the passengers of a Qantas flight departing from Sydney to Perth, Australia. As the Airbus A330 was flying at an altitude of about 30 feet, there was a problem with the ventilation system, which catalyzed the cabin pressure, causing the oxygen masks to suddenly fall off.

Confident that they were about to die, the passengers of the commercial flight were overwhelmed with terror and began sending messages to their loved ones, despite the desperate efforts of the flight attendants to reassure them. As a passenger told a local media:

"Many passengers were hysterical as we were informed that the aircraft was in a state of emergency, but no information was given as to why, we could not understand what was happening. The lack of information had made us all believe that our end had come. At least one passenger fainted "

Despite the passengers' fears, the Qantas plane landed safely.
