US President Donald Trump's talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ended without result, with the second summit between them ending without reaching an agreement.
According to the White House, after the contacts of the two leaders in Hanoi, there was no agreement after the two-day talks. However, according to Reuters, they had "constructive discussions about the denuclearization of North Korea and its economy."
"There has been no agreement this time, but their teams are looking forward to a new meeting in the future," White House spokeswoman Sarah Saunders said in a statement.
Earlier, both Trump and Kim had expressed hope for progress in improving relations and the key issue of denuclearization.
Trump had scheduled an agreement signing ceremony with Kim at the end of the summit. However, the two leaders left the venue earlier than planned, without attending the dinner to be shared, and returned to their hotels.
The US president is expected to give a press conference later.
