With flying objects of unknown origin posing a constant threat to northeastern European countries, Lithuania has closed Vilnius airport again.

The objects are believed to have been balloons inflated with helium, the National Crisis Management Center announced.

This is the fourth such incident in the past week. In previous cases, the government said the objects were weather balloons originating from Belarus and used to smuggle cigarettes.
