One person was killed and four injured in an explosion that occurred today in a residential building northwest of Moscow, Russian state news agency TASS reported, citing emergency services.
Baza, a Telegram channel with contacts in Russian intelligence, published a video showing severe damage to the Alye Parusa building complex, where the explosion occurred.
Another Russian state news agency, RIA, reported that three people were injured.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion.
In December, Ukraine claimed responsibility for the killing of Russian General Igor Kirillov in a bomb blast outside a Moscow apartment complex.
So far there has been no comment from the Ukrainian side.
