Turkey will resume its controversial exploration for natural gas in the eastern Mediterranean on August 9, AFP reported, citing an announcement by the Turkish Energy Ministry last night.
"The Turkish drilling vessel Abdulhahid Khan will start a mission in the Mediterranean on August 9 from the port of Mersina" (south), the ministry said in a statement.
