Strong police force outside Topsail High School in North Carolina
Strong police forces are rushing to Topsail High School in North Carolina after reports of shootings, with the gunman still on the school premises. So far there are no reports of injuries.
The latest information indicates that the students have been expelled from school.
Unconfirmed information states that the perpetrator has climbed on the roof of the school.
The high school is located in the town of Hampstead, about 177 km southeast of the state capital, Raleigh. Police received a phone call about the shootings at 6.30am.

Local media report that most of the children had not yet arrived at school while according to locals the high school is closed without anyone being able to enter or leave it.
It is worth noting that last May at the same school had sounded the alarm, as two students had been arrested for carrying heavy weapons with them.
